Personal Chart Apprenticeship is a 20-class one-on-one study of Jyotish through your own birth chart. This offering is designed for those who want to learn Jyotish in a way that is personal, rigorous, and directly connected to lived experience. The study unfolds through the actual structure of your own chart, with the guidance of a practicing Jyotishi. Across twenty private 90-minute classes, we move carefully through the foundations of chart interpretation and the deeper logic of Jyotish. The chart becomes both the text and the field of inquiry. Through it, you begin to understand the grahas, rāśis, bhāvas, yogas, timing systems, and the psychostructure of your own life with greater precision. This apprenticeship is suited to sincere beginners, returning students, and those who have already received readings and now want to understand how Jyotish actually works. The process gives you a structured way to study the subject while remaining close to the most relevant material available: your own birth chart. A central reason for this offering is that self-study through one’s own chart can quickly become clouded by projection, fear, confusion, and resistance. One may begin seeing in the chart what one hopes, fears, avoids, or imagines. Studying with a Jyotishi creates steadiness, clarity, and guidance, allowing the chart to become a field of real inquiry. Each class includes guided study, technical instruction, and chart-based dialogue. We may draw charts together, go through tables, memorize core principles, study grahas, rāśīs and bhāvas, and gradually learn how to read the chart with greater confidence and seriousness. You will also receive study notes, worksheets, and homework to support reflection, retention, and practice between sessions. In addition, you will receive a personal website containing an extensive body of chart-based materials and full-stack reports. This creates a lasting archive of the apprenticeship, allowing the work to remain available for contemplation and future study. Personal Chart Apprenticeship is a sustained educational and interpretive process in which study, dialogue, technique, and self-understanding are woven together through your own chart.
