I consulted Sachin after he was recommended to me by another astrologer as having a different approach to Rahu’s placement in Scorpio as I am going through my Rahu Dasha. The general consensus of other astrologers is that the placement signifies doom and gloom. I met him in June, with my half baked knowledge about astrology in general and his methods, in particular. I went into the session skeptical, not knowing what to expect. He started with a very detailed discussion about the interplay between the planets in my birth chart, almost pointing towards how its manifesting in my life now. Most of the life conditions he predicted were very accurate and it felt as if I didn’t have to explain much for him to get to the point, he just knew and he empathised. The nuanced way in which he left me with my thoughts to make my own conclusions was refreshing to say the least. he was able to imbibe hope and yet be straight forward. One hour into the conversation, once the interaction was warmed up, I was able to explain more clearly what I have been feeling lately. at the moment I saw the analysis shift to a more cognitive two-way process, where most of what he was saying catered to my psychological needs. I believe he could actually get a deeper insight into my mind with the help of the birth chart. His swift segue into psychoanalysis where he drew from his own experiences and theories was particularly very useful for me. I also find it important to mention here that he was sensitive towards issues relating to gender, sexuality and other more fundamental considerations which is often missing in “traditional” astrologers. What intrigued me the most was the fact that in the end of the session, I was not only left with somewhat adequate knowledge about my birth chart, ways to make things better, an analysis which helped me recover, but also a good amount of information about his Jungian methods, especially with regards to the convergence of psychology with astrology. I am writing this review almost after a month of interaction and in the past month, I have found me asking pertinent questions to myself those that are more existential, often overlooked. There is a tendency to find answers from within. It will be apt to say that he sparked my spiritual side and paved way for a more peaceful journey.

I would know, I’ve been a lot of astrologers.
